Nissan Leaf Cargo

Nissan LEAF Cargo is a modified version of the well-known and all-loved Nissan LEAF fit for commercial use.

Our engineers added on to the traditional Nissan quality to adapt the vehicle to the needs of business.

What was done in the project

The interior of the cargo vehicle can accommodate only 2 passengers and 450 kg of cargo.
CARGO SUPERSTRUCTURE
Half of the body that is right behind the front doors was replaced with an cargo unit superstructure. A closer look reveals that the superstructure is part of the older Ford Transit Connect van.
ADDITIONAL BODY SUPERSTRUCTURE
An additional body superstructure is mounted on the body subframe. The rear suspension is unchanged.
POWERFUL ELECTRIC ENGINE
The vehicle weighing 1580 kg is driven by a powerful engine receiving energy from lithium-ion batteries, their capacity depends on what customers want and ranges from 24 to 50 kWh.
STANDARD INTERIOR
The vehicle has a standard interior with textile seats and plastic details.
TWO TOUCH SCREENS ON THE DASHBOARD
Communication and control over the car is done with the help of 2 touch screens on the dashboard and central console to the right of the driver.
PASSIVE AND ACTIVE SAFETY SYSTEMS
The van is equipped with all the necessary passive and active safety systems needed for this type of transport, namely Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Vehicle Dynamic Control Systems (VDS), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), front airbag, electrically assisted steering (EAS) and other elements of comfort.
