FAQ COMMERCIAL CHARGING STATIONS

All you wanted to know but never asked
What does a commercial charging station consist of
All stations are made as individual units. Two-level sealing system provides reliable protection against unfavorable weather conditions, while modular structure means it can be assembled to fit any requirements for our product. Connection to AC network is done bypassing the main block under a protective cover with a five terminal strip for cables size up to 16 mm2.

Damage-proof casing is made of 1,5 mm sheet metal and is covered with weather resistant powder coating
What does the display show
The station can be monitored using a large four-line display, which is fully visible both in the dark and in direct sunlight. A built-in proximity card reader can help the user authorize and get access. LAN and 3G/GPRS are used to communicate with the operator.
Is the software for charging stations updated
Apart from the main communication channel with the energy system provider, all of the devices on our platform have additional auxiliary channels that secure automatic updates of the platform software and of the operational system. A flexible configurator adjusts the settings of the stations without physically contacting them, it is convenient and can be used to fine-tune for any task.
When will the current supply to the station be limited

All of the charging stations have multilayer protection systems. The device will stop operating or will limit the electric current supply to the station in case of:

  • No grounding (can be controlled through expert mode);
  • Сurrent leakage (more than 30 mA);
  • Overcurrent by 25% (smart controller);
  • Overvoltage in the grid more than 265V;
  • Over temperature inside the charging unit more than 65 С;
  • Over temperature in the charging plug to more than 40 С compared to the start temperature
How is the station tested before it is sold
To make sure that the station is reliably operational, after any station is manufactured and before it goes to sale it has to go through a series of tests:


  • Validation table test, tests for all possible emergencies and off-nominal situations;
  • Maximum current protection test - charging a vehicle for 30 minutes;
  • Vibration test with maximum current;
  • Heating test with an infrared scanner with load (to test for potential defects that may appear in future);
  • Min 100 continuous hours of load-free test in charging mode;
  • Sealing and pre-sale control;
  • Final test with a vehicleі.
