Tractor Electro 2.0

This electric tractor Tractor Electro 2.0 was created using the chassis of ХТЗ-3512 tractor.

Tractor Electro 2.0 is a unique project by EcoFactor team. With its powerful battery, the E-Tractor can work for 8 hours with just one charge, which is basically a working day. Tractor Electro made it to the Top 10 scientific events in 2015.

What was done in the project

The tractor took part in the competition on rope pulling and it was a landslide win of the electric tractor over its diesel counterpart.
FAST CHARGING
If charged from a regular power grid, it takes 10 hours to charge full, it is 4 hours with a three-phase circuit and less than one hour with an external charging station.
LOW COSTS
The cost of maintenance for this tractor is ten times lower than for its diesel counterpart: it simply does not need spark plugs, filters, engine oil. In place of a hundred of friction details it only has two bearings.
SEPARATE DRIVE
A separate drive for brakes makes it possible to brake with one drive wheel only, which leads to a smaller radius of turn.
TRANSPORTING HEAVY LOADS
The tractor can carry trailers and semi-trailers of up to 2 tons in weight at the speed of 40 km h.
AGROTECHNICAL CLEARANCE OF UP TO 587 mm
Agrotechnical clearance of up to 587 mm means it is possible to work in the field in late season (road clearance is 278 mm).
